Bass purveyor from the Balkans

I was born and raised in Bulgaria. 

After moving to New York City, I got offered a DJ residency at the Bulgarian Bar (Mehanata) alongside Eugene Hütz (Gogol Bordello). While there, I was one of the pioneers of the Balkan Brass and Balkan Beat music scenes in the United States. I then moved on to become a part of the Brooklyn Underground with crews like JunXion, Rubulad, and Thunder Gumbo. At this phase, I was playing and producing Global Bass and released remixes on If The Kids Records (Germany), Generation Bass Records (UK/Netherlands), Barbes Records (USA), and Vlad (France) among others. 

I have toured with Anna Morgan, Balkan Beat Box, and Filastine and have performed with a wide range of artists, among whom are 2melo, Ana Sia, An-ten-nae, Beats Antique, David Starfire, DJ Shawna, DJ Spooky, Gogol Bordello, Govinda, Kaminanda, M-1 (Dead Prez), Maga Bo, Marty Party, MC Zulu, Method Man, Nosaj Thing, Omar Souleyman, Prefuse 73, Questlove, Talib Kweli, The Human Experience, Tinariwen, Uproot Andy, and Z-Trip. 

I currently play Earth Bass: an exploration of various musical traditions and the slow, sensual, and spacious side of bass music. I regularly play at Ecstatic Dance and similar conscious dance events.

I am half of  b e i n g -  s o u n d - a ritual bass project with my partner Keena Maya.
I am a part of Collective BAE.
