I’m Joro Boro, a DJ with over 25 years of experience playing internationally everything from big festival stages to intimate gatherings, from sleek cocktail lounges to rowdy local dive bars, and yes, many weddings!
My main focus is on working with you and getting to know you and your guests to make your celebration truly your own and truly unforgettable.
While I am comfortable playing a wide variety of genres - from oldies and classics to contemporary hits and club favorites - I am particluarly experienced in the blending and weaving of music from various cultures to highlight the ethnic roots of the families coming together. I don’t subscribe to the idea of a ‘standard wedding’ and I believe each wedding merits its own distinctive sound. Each celebration is as unique as the people who are gathered and I custom tailor the music to amplify and elevate the overall experience. I have even made a commissioned remix of Hava Nagila specifically for a wedding!
